About

   This is a fanlisting for Nanami Luchia of Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. It was approved to myself by thefanlistings.org on April 17th, 2004. It is currently listed at animefanlistings.org, after anime & manga fanlistings recieved their own network.

   According to TFL, a fanlisting is "a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Fans from around the world submit their information to their approved fanlisting and they are then listed to show their love for the subject."

     Luchia is the Pink Pearl Princess, and one of the seven mermaid princesses of the seas. To the right is a picture of her as a mermaid. She rescued a boy from a ship wreck, and gave him her pearl--the source of a mermaid's powers. So, years later, she has to get it back, and turns into a human (the picture on the left). She finds out that the boy's name is Kaito, and she learns that she must stay in the human world longer then expected, and ends up falling in love with him.

     But if she tells him who she is, she'll turn into bubbles, so he has to figure it out on his own, as he is in love with the mermaid Luchia, and doesn't know that they are one and the same. As if that weren't complicated enough, there is a water demon, who, along with his four cronies, decide to collect the 7 mermaid princesses' pearls to become more powerful.

     Luchia meets up with two other mermaid princesses, and they try to rescue the ones he has already captured, and collect the 7 pearls as well, to release Aqua Regina, who will then banish Gaito, the sea demon. Luchia is an extremely kind and sweet girl who would do anything for her friends, although she is a bit of a ditz, and gets lost often...^^
